About the A.D.A.A.

American - We study what were originally oriental arts but have often been modified somewhere along the line. In America we have a melting pot culture that attempts to make changes in an effort to improve. Sometimes those efforts are successful and in other cases the original or traditional are the best.
Defensive - We do not seek confrontation, but rather actively go out of our way to avoid conflict. We will, however, respond aggressively to violent attacks.

Arts - We study and learn a different way of life through our study of the martial arts. More importantly, we strive to live our lives in the manner that Christ set as an example that was pleasing to God the Father.
Alliance - Alone we have limited strength and can find ourselves powerless and on the defensive both physically and spiritually. First, we depend on God ('I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength') for everything in our lives. Secondly, we do better as martial artists by depending upon God's direction and then learning everything possible from other martial artists.
